As we approach the end of the year, many businesses are looking to clear out old stock to make room for new products. This time of year is full of opportunities. If you have inventory that you need to move, I’m always open to looking at opportunity buys.

Why Now is a Great Time for Closeout and Overstock Sales

At the end of the year, companies often try to offload products that didn’t sell as well as expected. Some businesses might also want to clear space for new inventory coming in for the new year. Now is a great time to move that inventory. If you’ve got a list of products that need to go, I’m happy to take a look at it and see if we can make a deal.

The Types of Products I'm Interested In

I buy a wide variety of products throughout the year. My core areas of interest include:

  • Shoes

  • Apparel

  • Consumer electronics

  • Outdoor gear and sporting goods

  • Toys

  • Small appliances

  • Home décor and accent furniture

While I don't typically buy food, beverages, or consumables, I’m always open to seeing what you have. There may be some products that could fit into my current sales channels. The more, the merrier—if you think it might work, send it my way.

What Channels I Sell To

I understand the importance of protecting your brand, which is why I’m always careful about where and how I sell closeouts. For me, the key is finding the right outlet. That’s why I’m happy to avoid online channels if that’s your preference.

Most of the products I buy and sell go into brick-and-mortar off-price channels—stores that specialize in discounted goods. I also have connections with regional boutiques that focus on fashion and accessories, and I work with grocery and convenience stores that buy more products than you might expect. These are great places for finding new homes for overstock and clearance items. I can even move products into Mexico if that is interesting to you.

My Simple and Transparent Process

I like to keep things simple. No one wants to complicate these transactions. Here’s how it works:

Let’s Talk: We’ll start with a conversation so I can understand your inventory, the channels you already sell through, and any concerns you might have about how your products are placed.

Pricing Transparency: I’ll be upfront with you about what I see in the market and where I think the price should be. This way, we’re both on the same page from the start.

Take-All Deals: If we can agree on a fair price, I’ll make an offer for a take-all deal, buying everything that makes sense for my channels. I prefer this approach, as it makes the process smoother and quicker.

Building Long-Term Relationships: One-time deals are fine, but my preference is always to build long-term business relationships. That way, we can continue working together and making successful deals for years to come.
